Once Andrew Pierce and Ashley Hudson met at their church in Hamburg they were certain that there was no turning to the other side. Ashley was 17 and she'd never been married before. They began the romance very slowly. But it was truly the first time they met. Andrew prayed to God on New Year's Day just prior to the start of 2016. Andrew demanded God for one final blessing that year: that Ashley say yes and get married. Ashley desired a wedding that was elegant with a theme of woodland. It was important for her that the wedding represented both Andrew and Ashley. The wedding brought everything important to them. The venue chosen was on the back 40 acres of land Ashley grew up on. Ashley knew the entire region, having walked through it and had a game in the area. On top of that Andrew and Ashley had walked across the field several times since they began their relationship. The importance of personalization was that almost everything involved DIY from the bride and groom. Andrew and Ashley's father designed the ceremony arch as well as the seating area, while Ashley did a great deal of designing and painting. Ashley states that with Anna's stunning floral design, our wedding wouldn't be as beautiful or romantic as we had dreamed. Truly breathtaking.
